If you have one monitor, then Brett928S2 (? is that a Porsche model?) is correct. If you have multiple monitors, there are many utilities to make one keyboard and mouse control both machines over multiple monitors. It's kind of awesome to move your mouse pointer from one computer to the other.

Look at Mouse Without Borders from the Microsoft Garage. I just used it at work while copying config from the old machine to the new one. Three monitors, two computers, one keyboard and trackball. Easy.
