My internet operator told me that you can connect only one connection to broadband cable. If I setup wireless router & can I connect more than one computer to router? Is it possible ?

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

Yes - quite possible. You connect the router to the MODEM your computer is wired to at the moment and temporarily wire the computer to the router for setup purposes. Then you set a high level of wireless security and store the key in a safe document somewhere so that you can use it every time another computer wants to join the network.

As well as sharing the Internet connection, the router will act as a hub if you want to share files and printers between computers.

Post back if you get stuck on the router setup.
