That and the fact that I watched a Science show on the investigation into the human brain and how it functions. Scientists scanning the human brain with glue on electrodes attached to the skull do not get much information watching the electronic activity of the human brain doing Long Division or Fractions because the thought process is long and the outcome is expected so they get no clue into higher brain functions as the electrodes cant report electrical activity in the brain from someone doing long calculated all be it intensive brain activity.

They do however find mass amounts of higher brain activity and can track it fully when you tell the same person a joke. Apparently it takes exactly the same higher brain functions to understand a joke or punch line as doing calculus accept the punch line of a joke is calculated catoragized and assimilated all in about 33 nano seconds. The outcome is, we use all the higher brain functions and both hemispheres of the brain to listen to a joke and understand it in context as doing math problems.

So I guess John Cleese and players in the Monty Python skits were geniuses after all just like we all knew they were. I mean after all they attacked one of the hardest problems in mankind's thought when they attempted to Understand the Meaning Of Life in their movie.

One of the jokes the researchers used that gave them the most electronic feedback was this one.
