CAS2 vs. CAS2.5

i honestly have no idea wtf CAS means. which is better, CAS2 or CAS2.5? i guess logic would say CAS2.5, but the price of CAS2 was more expensive at www.googlegear.com. someone help me out and tell me wtf im dealing with lol

cas 2 is fater than cas 2.5 , think of it as access time for memory, ie. 4ns is faster then 5ns. but with most quality ram, u can change from 2.5 to 2 in bios.
