V600 1-Touch Speed Dialing

Is there a way to disble the automatic dialing of voicemail on number1? it
worked for ( the wife is on #1) a while after I got the phone but somehow
changed after about 2-3 weeks to voicemail. the softkey come up when you
open the phone. I don't understand why I would want two different buttons to
do the same thing. Tha V60 I had before had the wife at #1 for as long as I
had the phone.
