Hello

I got this old computer from a friend of mine. And i just installed Windows 2003 home server and im currently trying to set up ventrilo server. Well the thing is that i have done the port forwarding with both UDP and TCP on port 3784. Also tested it on ventrilo.com and it tells me that the server is up and running. But when i try to type in my network ip adress in ventrilo client on my desktop computer nothing happens. But i can connect with the local ip adress to the server something like 192.160.10.105 iv set the server adress to static. So if someone could please give me something it would be grate!

Thanks

Regards John.

What router do you have? does it support loopback?

Have you asked a friend to try connecting to it on your behalf?

I am not to sure with ventrillo but if you are trying to access the server from the internet that is on the same local network as you then there maybe some issues. have you tried using 192.160.10.105:3784 in the client?
