My father has a Lite-On DVD-Drive on a Windows XP machine but the OS in "My Computer" sees it as a CDROM Drive instead of a DVD-ROM Drive? It could still play DVDs and the bios says that it is a Lite On DVD-rom but WinXP displays it wrong. is there any way i can change this? thanx!

You can try reinstalling the drive or installing liteon drivers, but i doubt that will change anything.
Relax man. It works.
Qhat would you prefer:
A. It telling you its only a cd-rom drive but you can play DVD's
or
B. It says its a DVD drive but it cant play DVD's?
