I need a good game badly, however I am on a Mac
I have none at the moment.

I hope someone can help me.

Cheers Cassie

Not sure what your criteria for a good game are, but
you may find one of these

Bad Mojo (the roach game)
Alida (similar gameplay to Myst)
RHEM (hard puzzles, "Myst type")
Myst IV (works in OSX, needs DVD drive)

This one you'd have to order online.
Inherit the Earth (reissued for OSX by Wyrmkeep)
http://www.wyrmkeep.com/

And you can order some Mac versions of games
from Dreamcatcher/TAC
http://www.adventurecompanygames.com/tac/mac.html
Haven't seen them in stores, but you can get some of
them from Amazon.

One thing you could do, if you enjoy vintage gaming,
is to try downloading the Mac version of DOSBox or
ScummVM and try out some of the games at
www.the-underdogs.org

ScummVM can be used to play Beneath a Steel Sky,
which is freeware now.

Lure of the Temptress is also freeware. You would
need DOSBox for that one.

There is a group called comp.sys.mac.games.adventure . I don't know how
active it is (I'm no Mac gamer), but you should hopefully be able to
get better answers there.

Cheers!

It is essentially not active at all. That's because the Mac adventure
scene is not very active. Unfortunately.

To the suggestions already posted, I would add _Agon_.

I'm still thinking about what to put in this space.

I tried to get Agon but they only accept certain credit cards. I only use
debit cards or Paypal so couldn't make the purchase. :-(

Well, if you don't mind dated graphics and RPG's, check out www.spidweb.com.
Buncha Mac games there.
