Missing: Since January -- does it still work?

I just bought "Missing: Since January" for $20 -- it slipped under my
radar last year, and I thought I'd give it a chance. I'm finding that
the website for the game (www.skl-network.com) comes up as "missing".
Could it be that they took down the page, essentially making it
impossible to for people to play? Is anyone currently playing? I sent a
notice to The Adventure Company, but there's been no response yet.

I just clicked on the link and got the page just fine. Maybe it was temp.
down? I haven't bought the game yet, but I keep picking it up in the store
and thinking about it. Let me know what you think about it.

I was able to get to the web site eventually. Now I just can't
"register" from the opening screen. It keeps telling me to check my
internet connections (which obviously work if I can post this). I've
tried about 6 times over the last 24 hours with no success. Turning off
firewalls didn't help. Oh well, I guess that'll teach me to buy a game
on impulse with researching reviews online.

Your link works fine for me, but the site seems to figure out from which
country you're calling and load a corresponding page. Try
http://www.skl-network.com/us/index.html

I just bought the game today and I was having the same problem. I was able to finally connect by going to the skl-network.com website then I downloaded the patch from the lower left corner under Tools: Important Notice. I installed that and the registration worked right away. Hope this helps!

yeah it should work if you install the patch from the adventure company main site... but my problem is that all the videos take 45min to load and they never play they just get skipped.... so im just playing the game with 45minute breaks of a blank screen.... any ideas?

hello guys, Im having a problem installing that patch... everytime i start the exe file it just shows a small window saying ''initialising instalation wizard'' or something like that and then disappears and nothing happens..... I downloaded the patch from couple of websites and none works. If anyone knows I would apreciate some help please
