i have a laptop and while watching some random minecraft yogscast videos it suddenly locked up making a drrrr noise
so i turned it off (holding in the power button) and now it
A: hangs on start up (the windows 7 logo is up doing... nothing lots and lots of nothing)
B: hangs on windows start up repair (black screen after the "windows is loading files thing")
and C: hangs on starting my windows 7 install disk (again after the windows is loading files thing)
whats going on D:
ok imediately after posting it got into the windows setup to show that the disk i put in was windows vista not 7 (i have back ups of all my install disks cause my actual install disks are somewhere up in the loft) <.<
it did take a good half hour to get to it tho...
dont know if this could be anything
i brought 2 gig ram card from cex about 2 weeks ago could that be breaking things?
