There are plenty of guides on the internet. Install windows first, then linux and you should have no problems.

install windows 7. Then istall linux (ubuntu / linux mint have great / easy installers)
and u will be able to dual boot with easy

after install, GRUB will come up... its a menu that lets u select what u want to but
either windows 7 or Linux

or if u want to just try linux, u can install it in windows.. ubuntu
