Hi
I have a fancy tone for general incoming calls, lets say tune A.
I have tune B for general text alerts.
I have tune C for my girlfriends incoming numbers but tune C is also a
text alert for my girlfriends number, can I change it so I know if she
is calling or just texting?
Can't seem to find the blooming answer anywhere in the manual.

Simple answer: No.
If you set a specific ring tone for a specific person, then that tone is
used for their calls AND messages.
Annoying aint it ?
I went through the same thing when I first got mine, set a special ring tone
for a special person, and had my text message setting to vibrate only. But
it kept ringing every time the special person texted, and I prefer vibrate
only for text messages.
Gave up in the end and now just have one ring tone for everyone. After all,
it's possible to see who is calling before opening the phone anyway.
Seems the specific rng tones override any text message settings you have.
If there is a way around it, I didn't fnd it, and I spent a long time
fiddling to try.
