Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked before, but what are the Best and Worst

Best and worst for what purpose?

_Trinity_ and _A Mind Forever Voyaging_ are generally cited for having
the best stories. (But I thought the balance of game to story was way
off in AMFV, so I prefer _Trinity_.) A lot of people found
_Planetfall_ most engaging, because of the robot sidekick.

I probably had the most *fun* playing _Spellbreaker_ -- although some
of the very earliest games stick in my mind (particularly _Starcross_)
simply because I was younger and more impressionable.

As to worst -- well, _Moonmist_ was the only one that I started and
then couldn't be bothered to finish.

I'm still thinking about what to put in this space.

Hey,

I played a fair few but by means not all.

I have very good memories of Zork (simple but very engaging), The Lurking
Horror (Cthulhu fan)
and Hollywood Hijinx (the puzzles were well weighted plus I loved the
swizzle stick). Finally, though
easy there was something about Wishbringer which I really liked.

For bad, I would say that Zork II and III had alwasy one or two mathematical
puzzles which even when I had the solution cribbed from somewhere I had
trouble doing...same with Suspended...the stories were also very thin.

All in all I still think about them and boot them up every now and again
which is incredible considering their age

Cheers

toadie05@sbcglobal.net once tried to test me with:

My personal favorite is Enchanter, but I haven't finished that many of
them, I confess.

The one I could not realy enjoy much at all was Ned and Bert Couldn't Make
Head or Tail Of It (or something like that).

Nord & Bert was probably one of my favorites - plays on words all over the
place. Not really a great story or adventure, but quite a bit of fun. I think
the sitcom-type scene was one of my favorites. Figure out a puzzle and get
another bit of the scene.
