Need opinions about Hercules 7.1 cards

I have a friend who would like to buy either the Gamesurround III 7.1 or the Digifire 7.1. Both from Herecules.

I would like to here some opinions about these soundcards, as I´m not very experienced in SCs myself.
Good fetures, bad ones, funtionality, problems... all is welcomed.

I would mostly like to here about real-life experiences but other comments are welcomed as well.

My friend just wanted me to gather some opinions, I guess it´s a bit early. Then again I suppose Hercules wouldn´t release a "bad" product.

A better question would be: What do people think about Hercules soundcards?
