Why doesnt the internet community rather make a program like Scumm Vm ,
to emulate only Old sierra games, thus making it quicker and basically
works 1st time?

Maybe the engines used in Sierra games aren't as consistent
as the SCUMM engine in the LucasArts games. So you need
something like DOSBox for Sierra games, which has more
things you can adjust to suit the particular game.

As for DOSBox being too slow, it depends on the game
you're playing and how high its requirements were to
begin with. Emulation eats up a lot of processor cycles.
If you have XP and your computer is less than 1 GHz,
you're probably better off looking at VDMSound, where
only the sound is emulated.
