Good Afternoon,

Anybody know where I can find some basic power supply data? The Intel P4 ATX Mobo spec calls for an ATX-type P/S. The ATX case I like is furnished with a P4-ready PS/2-type P/S. What's the difference? Are thay dimensionally the same; can I simply replace the PS/2 with an ATX?

Actually it would be an ATX power supply in a PS/2 form factor.

PS/2 as opposed to something larger or smaller. I have no idea why they don't simply READ THE LABEL which usually says ATX 2.1 or ATX 2.2.

PS/2 refers to the physical dimensions of the PSU compared to the Full AT size PSU's (big, had an L shaped cut out in one corner).

ATX utilizes the PS/2 size and changed the electrical specifications (and initially fan position if memory serves).
