Laptop in LA, CA

Hello, my first post at this forum.

Im from sweden and Im going to Los Angeles in beginning of march, have some questions about buying a laptop.

First of all, how much is the tax on computers in LA, CA??

Is Dell notebooks only avaiable from dell webshop or can I find Dell computers in the stores as well??

I´ve found this Compaq Presario 2110US that seems nice, is the storeprice the same as the web price? (Im aware of the mail in rebate)

I got a list of stores when using the "Find in store" button on that site, thats why I wounderd about the price....


Any store that anyone can recommend in LA, I´m gonna stay at hotel so I dont have the option of ordering online. I want to buy it in a store...
