I ordered it form new egg for $40 be here monday, sick of onboard sound going to a 5.1 reciever.... i hope i dod not make a mistake. Will tell ya what i think...

ps. I hate all sound cards

I got it today and hooked it up.. the instalation was really easy and the software is great... I then hooked it up to my 80w sony 2.1's and the bass and lower tones were way to high, so i had to fix it it the software. Im getting my promedia 5.1's in wendsday so well see what they sound like.

my bad i had it on 2 speaker their is an option for 2.1 and that cleared it up nicly.

OMFG My speaker system sounds so incredible when hooked up to the promedia 4.1's i can never go back. The Fortismo III puts out crystal clear sound to the 4 speakers. The higher toines and the base are flawless. Not sure if this is jsut the speaker but the sound card is not limiting the quality...
