I've been told that the V600 has problems in the Philly area with
dropped calls. I know a couple of people that have this problem and had
AT&T ship them a replacement phone and the same problem with dropped
calls continued to happen. Does anyone else have this problem? Does
anyone know if the V620 has the same problem?

Absolutely an issue.

I'm not a techie, and don't have a clue why, but every other phone I own
holds signalfine where the V600 simply drops me dead.

ATT did not admit this was/is a problem, and I walked away with the same
phone, but would have liked to give a different set a shot just to
see........

I'm looking for a smartphone or small PDA phone
I can use with my Cingular SIM. Would appreciate any guidance............!

Go to a few stores and look at a few AT&T phones, and use your AT&T
SIM - until the 15th, at which time you'll be able to get a new SIM
that'll work on both systems, at no cost. (Dealers can no longer
return unsold stock in most markets, so they may be willing to talk
price.)
