OK does anyone have Motorola Mobile Phone Tools AND Windows 98 FIRST
Edition? I'm trying to narrow down why I can't get the Multimedia part of
MPT to work. I need to get the pictures off my V400 phone & onto my
computer. The address book part works fine, which leads me to believe the
cable is OK.

I tried it with Win98 SE and it did not work ok. I guess some asian

I've had the same problem although I started out on WinXP and then tried 2K
and 98SE. After giving up and posting in the Cingular group someone pointed
out that if I have a small box-like piece molded into the middle of my cable
then that is the problem. I bought my cable from Cingular so I thought I
could trust it would work but evidently not, so I've ordered an inexpensive
cable & desktop charger combo from eforcity. I hope it works but I'll post
my results when I get it.
