synchronising palm vx on mac osx AND windows

Hi all,
the problem i have is that i want to synchronise my Palm Vx (Palm OS 3.5.3)
both to my Apple Macintosh (OS X 10.3) AND to my Windows-XP PC.

On the Macintosh side all works ok, it synchronises from palm to Mac and
vice versa. Palm Desktop is newest available verion.

On the Windows PC, the hotsync starts, it tells me that it backs up all
files, but nothing else happens. No adresses, appointments, etc are synched.
Sync setttings are ok, all is set to sync both palm to pc and vice versa.
Palm Desktop is newest available version (4.1.4). I tested on several
windows pc, with win 2k, win xp, nt4, every time the same result.


What is going wrong? Any suggestions?
