I've heard such a thing as software RAID exists, but nothing more.
I'm aware of the fact that it doesn't provide any performance or security boost (like RAID 0 and 1 respectively). But I wonder, does it make your system as vulnerable as a RAID 0 system (system crash when one disk crashes, system crash when power is down, etc. etc.)?
Where can I find out more about sofware RAID solutions?
Currently many disc recovery programs and other HD tools (e.g. partition magic) doesnt support dynamic disks. I think this alone is more than enough reason to forget everything about dynamic disks.
Plus if you get buggy software at some stage you can kiss nite-nite to your RAID array.
Remember, it IS windows your dealing with. LOL
