hi! i'm korean. So i'm not good at english.
Nowdays I'm considering for change my hard disk drive, because it's slow and noisy(than fluid bearing).
My HDD is WD Caviar 400BB, bought a year ago.

I've checked computer hardware market and I'm concerned about IBM deskstar 180GXP series. But I'm worry about its
durability because of problem on 75,120 series as you know.

I got 180 series specification, realized that it uses
fluid bearing(quiet) and platter's material is changed.

But I don't know whether the problem's improved or not.

In USA, I think it released more days ago than korea.
So, I want opinion for someone used this.
Thank you for read my poor writing.

Haven't got one myself, but it's perhaps a bit early for opinions anyway, at least when it comes to reliability. IBM only started shipping 180GXP on 30th September, according to their press release. Haven't even found any review yet, to confirm if the 180GXP performance is up to what IBM claims.
