I have always wondered too, I was afraid I would scratch the screen. I use a watered down window cleaner with a very, very soft, all cotton cloth and gently wipe from top to bottom, being careful not to let the cleaner run behind the bezel. Seems to work good for me, IMO.

Never spray anything directly onto the face of the monitor or panel -- especially a panel. If it runs down inside, it can short out circuitry. Spray on the cloth first.

I use a bit of windex on my laptop once in a while.

NEVER use Fantastic spray cleaner on glass! Droplets left on the glass actually etch the surface and become permanent! I did this to my house windows!!!

My bad, I should have explained my self further. But that's what I meant by not letting it get behind the bezel.
