Ultra ATA 133 Controler

i got a new hard drive the other day and since all my ide slots
are taken up (dvd player, cdrw, 2 HDs) i desided to put it on a "high-speed dual channel ultra ATA/133 controller" by SIIG the only problem is every time i turn the computer on when this PCI card is in the damn thing wont boot to windows it just gives me a flasing curser and nothing else. no mater what i do i cant get the thing to boot to windows when the card is in the PCI slot. CAN ANY ONE HELP ME?!?!?!?!?!?!?

  3. This is normally caused by a PCI IRQ conflict with another device, you might have to play "musical cards" to get it to work.

  4. i only have one card in my pci drives
  5. Maybe it's a bad card, or a power supply problem, or a BIOS conflict between the card's BIOS and the board's BIOS? The last thing I said usually happens after POST though.
