Help! (no audio)

I recently aquired a Hauppauge WinTV card. I downloaded the latest drivers and software and everything was working fine until I tried the TV tuner. For some reason I ca nwatch the picture but there is no sound! I reinstalled the sound card drivers, and checked all the connections and the mixer settings. please help this is a very agravating problem.

have you select "line-in" in the recording box, verify that "line in" isn't muted in playback box

yes i have. are there special drivers for the audio? on the back of the card there is a composite video in, RHF and a 1/8" jack that says TV out. Whats the last one for

no, there are not special drivers for the audio, except the drivers of audio card. have you some sounds with mp3's for example ? normally, you must link up the entry "line-in" of the sound card with the tv-card with a jack3.5/jack 3.5 cable. do you do this ?

my sound card works fine. There is no sound out on tv board. I am not a n00b
