Hi,

I'm in Texas and I need to book a studio in LA on Thursday. What I
need is to send my Pro Tools session via ftp to the studio and have
them record a the vocalist and mix the session there. It is a
political spoof of a 60's hit song (at the expense of Bush)using the
original male singer. I had booked a voiceover studio called Buzzie
but they cancelled the session when I said it was at Bush's expense.
Plus they don't use Pro Tools.

I know this is extremely last minute, but I hope someone can offer
suggestions. Politically liberal or apolitical studios obviously
preferred!

Thanks,

Andrea Perry

I use Sonar but could easily import Protools tracks if they are rendered to
Broadcast wav files. Would love to be a part of a Bush bash. I would even
discount my rate from $40/per to $30/hr. Pasadena area.

Pasadena invented FTP. We are the home of the think tank.

Larrabee North would be able to do that, provided they have an open room.
Or, as an alternative, Larrabee East, although they only have one room with
a space for a vocalist. The other one is just a mix room, no "tracking"
area. Call 818-753-0717 and ask for Madeline. Tell them Kendall sent you.
Both studios are near Universal Studios, in North Hollywood.

Maybe they thought you meant Bush would be picking up the tab...
