A note to interested Audigy buyers, as I was. (Past tense) Zip over to Newegg.com, and check out the reviews of the very pleased owners of the Turtle Beach SC card. Not necessarily slamming SB here, just the facts ma'am. Maybe the cool $62, no shipping price tag, as opposed to the $84 Audigy price tag will interest you too.

The Audigy isn't a bad card but the Santa Cruz is better in some aspects. Personally, I'd only buy the Audigy over the Santa Cruz is if I desperately need a Firewire port without wasting an extra PCI slot or if I want to experience slightly better sound effects with EAX HD games(anyone know what games support it anyway?).

EAX HD will be support by most game manufacturers in the future. Sound card usually last longer than other component in a computer.
