Accessing WIFI

Hello,
I am staying at a place that has WIFI access but my computer is not connecting to it. I do have the password to use it, but I don't know how to get to the point where it asks me for the password. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Should be a wifi icon by the clock, double-click on it, select view networks and pick the one you are trying to connect to.
