hey just wondering if anyone else notices a dramatic performance hit when enabling shadows (both player and vehicle) in Ghost Recon...

even though the shadows looks pretty simple, for some reason the game usually gets choppy when displaying them on my system (amd 1.2, geforce2 pro, yada yada yada)

when i disable shadows, it runs perfectly fast with no slowdown at all... and since the shadows look bad anyways, i think its worth disabling them...

just my 2 cents...

oh by the way, i am running the game at 1600x1200x32, with every other graphic setting cranked up all the way... it appears as though only the shadows make the game choppy on my system.
