IM returning my 2001fp as i feel its a POS. Instead of getting another 16ms 17" LCD, im thinking of getting a POS 17 crt to hold me over for a little bit while the New lcds hit the market. does any one have any time reference when we could see them in retail channels?

Samsung and BenQ should be coming out with their 12ms LCD's
sometime this, or next month. Or so I've heard, it could
be a few months down the line.

But these panels are all 17"? Or will there be faster 19" panels too?

BenQ said their 19" and 21" will be "fast" but only listed the response times for 17". Check out their website.

12ms are now starting to be sold. Don't even dream about 10ms yet.

Actually, a 10ms panel seems to be pretty close. BOE Hydis has had a 10ms 17 inch panel listed on their website for a while now. I havn't found any information about when it will be hitting the western markets yet, but it may not be too long. We'll see....(http://www.boehydis.com/product/monitor/p_list01.shtml)

It's not really a monitor, but a panel that Hydis sells to monitor manufacturers.
Has anybody heard about any announces on real 10ms Hydis based models? I googled and so far nothing except for chinese and korean articles. Sad, I can't read them. :)
Benq 12ms panel is kinda disappointing according to reviews.
