I just bought an Acomdata external USB 2.0 hard drive, 40gb. When I plug it into my Windows XP SP1 Pentium4 machine, the system hangs. When I plug it in prior to booting the system, the system hangs just before getting to the "Windows XP Loading" screen. I have installed my chipset drivers and USB 2.0 support. What else do I need to do to get this to work?
