Are V550 / V600 any good?

Great phones. Excellent reception, voice, and earpiece. Great displays.
Excellent battery life.

I guess it depends what you compare it to. My wife has just got a V620 which
is a mild update on the V600 and the batttery life sits somewhere between my
/// Z600 (which I call average) and her old Nok 6310i (which was
exceptional).
I was very sceptical with the V620 at first as I found a lot of the menu
functions badly structured but it has an excellent screen, excellent camera,
lovely quality feel and excellent reception.
My hate is the external aerial but I guess this is the downside of the last
advantage listed.

We took back a V3 because the battery life was so poor (and the buttons were
terrible).
