Cain and Abel problems

I have a problem when i try to launch Cain and Abel.
it says: "The procedure entry point PacketGetReadEvent could not be located in the dynamic link library packet.dll".

I did have to manually add "Packet.dll" as it didnt install during the installation for some strange reason and if i didnt install "Packet.dll" i would recieve and error telling me that it was missing from the directory.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstating and ive had no luck

Anyone know how to solve this error? would be helpfull thanks!

Did you just copy the dll into the folder? If so you'll have to register it with regsvr32

start > run > type regsvr32 packet.dll

I trust that you're using it purely for educational reasons.
