Screen does blank and only shows desktop background

Hi again,

Just experiencing some problems with my laptop(acer 7535g)/windows 7. Im not sure where the issue lies but im quite certain its windows 7. Every time I go to do something with my laptop that needs admin permission (e.g. changing screen reolution or installing a program) it doesnt actually ask for permission, it just goes to this plain screen with no task bar, no desktop icons, just the background screen. I still have the right click function but i cannot use the alt-ctrl-del fuction as it just goes completely black. The only way out is going to sleep mode and logging in again. Quite annoying and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and can help.

Not that I'm an expert in this sort of behaviour, but in that situation I'd be a little concerned that I might have picked up a virus...

have you updated all your device drivers and still having problem??
If yes, it seems your system is infected with some malware/trojan.
If you have antivirus in your system update it & run a full scan & also download & install Malwarebytes & do a scan!
