Hello.
I just got my first POP-capable phone (Motorola V551) and have been
running tests trying to figure out why tiny emails can incur large
data-transmission numbers.
It looks like messages originally in HTML result in much higher data
rates than plain text emails, even though only the text bits wind up on
the screen.
Q: is there an email service out there that would
1.receive email
2.strip out the HTML
then either
3a. allow POP access to the text-only messages, or
3b. forward the "cleaned up" version to another address?
Thanks for any and all help.
- Owen.
