Laptop as Router? I don't think so, but...

Hey guys,

I have a laptop and and a desktop (both running Win7). My desktop is far away from any ethernet port and is NOT equipped with Wi-Fi. This lead me to wonder if (with a ethernet plug) I could use my wifi laptop as a router of some sort.

I know it sounds odd but if you can think of ANYTHING

that works, look into ICS (Internet Connection Sharing)
