Terrible connection when gaming after update

I updated my gigabit intel thingamabob in the device manager and didn't change any settings. Now, when I log into games, it's impossible to play since I get pings up to 400. I've reset my modem, router and checked my bios, but I can't find anything wrong. Any ideas?

There is an option in device manager to rollback the driver. just highlight the device, right-click and select properties.
