Hello,

I am in need of playing a stream (generated by s program like VLC) on more than 3 TV's. The TV's are dumb lcd's with just hdmi connectors (no lan). I thought about getting some media players that I connect to the local network which will then pick up my stream and stream it further to the TV's. This is where I need help as I cannot find out which media players can do this and I would really appreciate some help. What models support these?

Thanks
Sorin

All media players I know of will only access predetermined websites.

Why do you want to use streaming and not an HDMI splitter?

The distance is too great for an HDMI splitter. I'm talking 40-50m.

You cam purchase HDMI extenders that use CAT5e cable to hundreds of meters.
