Great article but it has raised a big question for me...I noted with curiosity the significant +12 VDC current specs on the AMD power worksheet...got to wondering WHY SO Much? attempted to find out form AMD and could not....so the broader questions was what changes have occurred on motherboards for the newer > 1GHZ processors...perusing motherboard sites...Intel site and AMD site did not bring any answers...would be nice to see a block diagram of exactly what regulators and power requirements are necessary for newer motherboards with highspeed DPU's
