Help Wanted on Picking Out a New Router.

Hello people of Tom's hardware I have a pretty simple question to ask you today, what is a good router that will make a fast and long range network? I live in a house with a basement, ground floor ,and an upstairs and I currently have a Linksys WRT120N. I am pretty disappointed with it, it does have a fairly strong connection but that's only when you are near the router which is on the ground floor, and since the computer that I use is on the upstairs floor and my game consoles are in the basement they both get terrible spotty connection. I am looking for a replacement router that will be able to reach all my devices no matter where they are and have a decent steady connection. Lastly the router needs to be able to port forward. I am willing to spend $100 give or take, any ideas?

Wow that is everything that I want in a router and more... although the price is a bit steep. Are there any other cheaper alternatives that I could compare this one to?
