Voicemaster Pro Settings - Male Vocal?

Anyone out there using Focusrite's Voicemaster Pro - that might have some
"favorite" settings on the inline processors on the VMPro for recording a
male pop/rock vocal? I am just starting to use it a lot, and I love it -
but as is probably prudent - I am most afraid of overusing anything. The
vintage harmonics for example are really great - but seem a bit hard to
tame. Anyway - any input from anyone out there with this unit is much
appreciated.
