Hi everyone,
I'm building up my new box and buying the parts one by one trying to pick the best part individually. I'm now up to the memory sticks and I need some help.
After reading many reviews, I decided to go with the Samsung brand (even Corsair and OCZ use it), now here's where I'm at:
- I've been studying the Samsung spec chart for their DDR and a lot of it is way over my head
- At first I wanted the 512Mb modules but it seems that it doesn't come in CB3 (166Mhz -> CL 2.5) so I'm down to 256Mb modules
- Now, from what I see, they have 3 versions wich are:
64x4, 32x8 and 16x16 (guess it's the number of banks on them) but I don't have a clue on wich one is better, can anybody help me out ???
-Is there anything else I should watch for when I buy them and if I want a specific OEM part number, do you know of a good Canadian retailer that I could order it from ???
