Command prompt to find hardware for win 7 clean install

I just installed a new hard drive. How do I find the hard drive partition to install my new windows 7. I am dot seeing the hard drive

Does it show in F2 bios setup & configured properly, ie Sata, etc ?

Start>right click Computer click Manage then under Storage click Disk Management and you should be able to see the drive. You may have to scroll up or down. You will have to initalize the drive and then make a simple partition

Rather difficult, as it is a new drive and no OS as he wants to install win7
