Well, finally looks like I got through. I tried posting three times earlier
today and nada. Anyway:

What would be a decent low-cost microphone I could use to capture woodwind
instruments with my computer sound card? It would have to be terminated in
a 1/4" stereo plug.

Thanks,
Will

What soundcard?
Balanced inputs?
Define 'decent'...
What's low-cost - $5, $25, $100?
For what end purpose?

Decent and really low-cost is asking a lot... also most souncard mic inputs
are pretty poor.
