I have recently purchased the V620 and is trying to transfer some midi
files to the mobile phone.

However, every time I click on the transfer to mobile button, my
computer freezes and I need to reboot the PC (without having the midi
files transferred across to the phone).

What am I doing wrong? This is my first Motorola phone, can someone
please help me with some tips and hints on how to use the mobile
PhoneTools software? I am on Windows 98.

Thanks in advance....

Win98 Second Edition I guess? If not, I don't think Win98 supports
USB.

Via the USB cable provided with the phone, and I'm using Windows 98 SE.

I can see all the other items in the Inbox / Outbox from the phone, but not
anything in the video / audio folders from the phone.

If it's anything like my E398, you actually have to fire up the software
first, let the "cannot detect phone" message appear, then connect the phone.
The software then springs to life.

The latest version my cure this, I just haven't got round to using the
LiveUpdate feature.

Hope this helps.
