Best Card for a good price (under 200$)

You probably can get an Nvidia GF3 TI-500 for that amount of money or cheaper, you didn't mention whether you were a gamer or what your uses are for your video card, but the card mentioned will do whatever you want to do with it. Ryan

You can get a NVidia GeForce 4 Ti 4200 128mb card for around $140 USD. Most people feel its the best card under $200. The 4400 can be bought for $180-200 but its not that much better performance and the 4200 can be overclocked to run at 4400 to even 4600 speeds. The ATI Radeon 9000 is in the same class but the 4400 outshines it.

Unless you have some specific usage like video recording/editing, this is the best all around video card for that money. The only drastically better video card at the moment is the Radeon 9700/9700 pro and those sell for well over $300-350.

(p.s. don't forget video card's performance are subject your motherboard and CPU speeds. If you have a PII 400 then don't bother getting a new vid card. Buy a new MB and processor.)

I'm ordering a 4200 right now :)
