Are all types of ethernet cables the same?

I bought a 100ft cat6 ethernet cable for amazon and I didn't work when I made several long ethernet cables. Now I'm looking at amazon again and I see "patch network ethernet" on some other cables. The one I bought did not have the word "patch" on it.
What is the difference between
http://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-1000ft-In-Wall-550M... , http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Cat-6-Snagless-Patch-Cable... , http://www.amazon.com/100ft-Bulk-Ethernet-Cable-without... , and http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-SOLID-CABLE-24AWG-A7L704-1... ?
Besides the lengths, what is different?
Please help, thank you.

the only difference is that the one that says Patch already has RJ45 connectors on each end and is ready to use.

make sure you use the right color sequence when you crimp the RJ45
