Lock On RAM? Question

Hi All,

The reason I have the question mark after RAM in the subject line is I don't
know for sure what caused my Lock On to keep crashing. I hadn't played it
for a long time and I recently pulled two OCZ 512s for two Corsair one MEGs.
My other specs are:

ASUS A8V Deluxe MoBo
3500+ Athlon 64
2 1 MEG Corsair sticks (2 MEG)
OnBoard Sound
EVGA GeForce6800GT NVidia 71.89 driver
No OverClocking

When it goes to enter the flight I get a BSOD, I've tried training missions,
and others with the same problem.
Any ideas?

Thanks and Check Six!
Gary

I used to get the same thing. i went to guru3d, and downloaded the 76.45
driver, ran driver cleaner to get rid of the 71.89, then put in the 76.45.
I have a similar system to yours:
Abit AV8
Athlon 64 4000- Venice core
4x 512 GeIL PC 3200 Ultra-X dual channel RAM
Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS
XFX GeForce 6800GT

On my last systen, lomac ran fine. When I went to play it on the above
system, I got bsod when trying to launch the game. Main menu screen was
fine. Look for nv4_dsp.dll on your BSOD. I have had no further problems.
Flaming Cliffs is great!
