When you say 'select Windows 7' does this mean you have more than one OS installed?

i think your os has been currupted.

if u have an windows 7 disk then install using following steps:-

1)start your psu go on boot menu set boot device to cd/dvd rom.

2)then it will appear press any key to boot from cd/dvd then press enter.

3)then setup will appear then select your language and then click next.

4)then there will be two option custom settings or upgrade.

5)select custom settings then click on advance option there

6)then choose your local disk where you install that os then fomat it.

7)after format then choose the local disk where you wanna install os then click on next.

8)then the setup will start it will restart several time then when the setup will be completed then set your persnol settings and then the problem will be solved.:)
